Self Catering Holiday Cottage – Isle of Skye 

This self catering, traditional style, holiday cottage which sleeps up to six people, is located in the Crofting community of Borve near Portree on the Isle of Skye. Brescalan Cottage is situated in an ideal central location with panoramic views west over Snizort and with direct access on to the Trotternish Ridge. Only two miles away is the beautiful 9 hole golf course at Skeabost on the shores of Loch Snizort.  The Skeabost River which flows into the Loch is also very popular for Salmon fishing.  Whether it’s walking, cycling, fishing or just relaxing in peaceful surroundings, Brescalan Cottage is convenient for all. The cottage was built from stone in 1908 as a croft house. While still retaining it’s original character it has been fully refurbished to a high standard to provide quality, modern, self catering holiday accommodation for up to 6 people. The ground floor, including the master bedroom with en-suite shower room,  has been designed to accommodate those with disabilities, including wheelchair access. The upper floor provides one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and full shower room facilities.
